Hello, my name is Amy Lloyd, the owner of A Cake Occasion.
I have been working with cakes and pastries, in a variety of bakeries for over 15 years, including professional schooling at Liason College. A Cake Occasion began in 2008 as a side job which later grew into the business it is today. I work from a separate kitchen in my home which is completely dedicated to the business. With the support of my incredible husband, I've been able to stay home with my 3 children and still make cakes and goodies. Win Win!
Ever since I was a little girl I have had a love for baking. I enjoyed the whole process of gathering the ingredients, mixing it all up, baking, decorating....and finally tasting it and sharing with others! I still enjoy that whole process today, and when I see those smiles from my customers it really is the icing on the cake.
All of my products are made with my own recipes. I have put a lot of time and effort into finding the perfect match between cake, filling and finish and I hope you enjoy the results.
